i've been right where you are...
When I first found out I was pregnant, I was thrilled—but I was also completely overwhelmed. There was so much information coming at me from all directions, and I didn’t know where to start. The one thing I knew for sure was that I needed to get serious about my diet. I wanted to give my baby the best start possible, so I threw myself into researching and creating meal plans that would not have me picking up Chipotle every night. I shared these plans with my pregnant friends and they encouraged me to spread the word, which led to the creation of Baby Bump Meals.
I built the Baby Bump Meals website during midnight feedings and somehow managed to launch it the week before I returned to work. I was blown away by the response—so many women were signing up for my meal plans that I could hardly keep up! But between running the website, caring for a new baby, and juggling a full-time job for three years, I eventually made the heartbreaking decision to take the site down. Even though I moved on, the idea of helping pregnant women with their health and wellness never left my heart.
A few years ago, I felt a strong urge to pick up where I left off, but this time with a more holistic approach. I wanted to help women not just with their nutrition, but with every aspect of preparing their bodies, minds, and lives for motherhood. So I went back to school, became a certified prenatal and postnatal health and wellness coach, and launched The Baby Bump Coach.
